For those that don't know, the Agter Witzenberg valley is north of Ceres but only accessible via the turn off to the left at the top of Gydo Pass. The valley is in the heart of the mountains with many farms as well as our campsite (called Panorama) for the weekend.
The campsite is on a dam (clean water with sandy bottom) that is great for swimming. The campsite is the length of the dam and mostly grassed, though camping under the trees can be on sand. It is a very pleasant campsite with great views over the valley.
Access is on a dirt road that can accommodate trailers and caravans.
Cost
We would like to book the campsite exclusively for us for the weekend. The cost is R2400 for the weekend for up to 24 persons (around R100 per person) there after R75 p/p/p/n.
